Periodically synchronize the ARP table and DHCP leases with a central service that enriches this data with manufacturer information. Additionally, this service will enable users to append metadata to hosts.

Immediate features should include:

  • Creating queues for hosts.
  • Add alias's to hosts
  • Implementing red/green monitoring using Netwatch.
  • Graphing traffic throughput using SNMP (focusing on queue usage).
  • Logically grouping hosts and representing them as address lists on MikroTik.
  • Dispatching events for IP address changes (e.g., if a device's IP changes, identified by its MAC address).
